Obama's Chavetization of America

Let's think ahead in time and let's imagine that Obama had won the election.  What would be Obama's first term in office like?By being a socialist, the first things he is going to pass would be social assistance programs.  And if he also has a Democrat majority in congress, everything his planning on doing, it will be done.

First thing he will do is implement education reforms to indoctrinate our kids on the benefits of socialism, under the direction of William Ayres of course.

Then he will start working on the parents indoctrination, by passing universal health insurance and bringing Cuban doctors to help lower the cost, he will enact a law that will be giving people economic stimulus by increasing taxes on the windfall profit of oil companies and REDISTRIBUTING it  to the people, he will increased the minimum wage, he will have free daycares in public schools, he will continue nationalizing the banking industry and increasing taxes to assure mortgages we can’t pay to everybody, ……

When it comes to foreign affairs, our allies would be Russia, Cuba, Iran, and all the muslin countries that hate our country.

Iran would be the Israel of the Middle East.  Israel will loose all the priorities that enjoys as our best ally in the Middle East.

Groups like ACORN, LULAC, La RAZA, ACLU, will be his watch dog to keep the rest of us that don’t agree with him in line.

By this time, the new media, FOX News and all the radio talk shows like Rush Limbaugh’s, Sean Hannity’s, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin’s, Mike Gallagher’s and more, which will be screaming bloody Mary, exposing Obama’s, will be silent by the passing of the Fairness Doctrine.  CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, and all the others alike, will be part of the new “National Media Communication” government program in which Obama will have a weekly show called “Call and talk to the president”.

By the end of his first period, people would love him so much, because of all the social programs, that they will not care about Obama messing with the constitution and changing it so he can have more than two presidential periods just as long as he keeps giving us more governmental social programs, and then he will go to be another one of the great world leaders along with Castro, Chavez and Putin.

GOD HELP US.

We Latinos have more in common with the Republicans than with the Democrats

I know it is kind of hard to believe that we the Latinos in this country have more in common with the conservative side of the Republican Party than the liberal side of the democrats, but it’s true.  The problem is that the leaders of the Republican Party believe the lie that the liberal media spread.

We are a very religious people, catholic in the majority, very respectful of life and the great majority does not agree with abortion.  We are a very hard working people and value our money, so we don’t agree with paying more than what is necessary in taxes.  We believe in the family and that it needs to be preserve as the union between a man and a woman.  We believe in God and the freedom of being able to congregate and pray to him and we like to respect the laws.  I know a lot of us are not completely familiar with the laws of this country, because they are different to the ones in the countries that we come from, but we learn them and respect them as we are exposed to them.

And when it comes to the immigration laws, everybody that is illegal in this country is aware of the consequences of living illegally in the country and that they can be picked up and deported at any time, but there’s these groups of people (LULAC, MALDEF and others everywhere in the US) who have self appointed themselves as leaders and protectors of them that are telling them that the immigration laws don’t really matter as long as they are here to do a job that the Americans don’t want to do, which is not true, Americans have been displaced of these jobs that they used to do because of abusive cheaper wages that some employers paid the illegals.  And Univision, Telemundo and Cadena Azteca have made it their mission to exploit the situation and to promote these people’s ideas.

But the Republican Party is not taking advantage of this, instead, they are afraid to come and talk to us about heir vision for a better living, not for some groups of people, but for everybody.

Not every Latino believes that the most important issue in the next presidential election is the immigration problem (legal and illegal).  It is a problem that needs to be taken care of, and yes it will affect a lot us, but it needs attention.

A debate in Univision is not going to help the Republican Party to get close to the Latino community.  Univision is the most anti republican party Spanish media in the country and their question would be especially crafted to make the republican candidates uncomfortable talking about illegal immigration to a majority of viewers who are illegal in this country and are already buying the lies of  the so called leaders who are telling them that they deserve legal status just because they are here doing the jobs that “Not even the blacks want to do” as the former president of Mexico Vicente Fox said.

Republicans need to use the Spanish media and create commercials to talk to us and to promote their ideas.  Let us know that you have a plan to fix the immigration problems and that you also have a vision for the future that is going to benefit all of us.

Our Latino Vote

This election season and like some others that I remember (since 1981), the Spanish media and the so called Hispanic leaders are predicting again that the Latino or Hispanic or Latin American or whatever they have decided to be happy with what others can call us, it is going to be THE DECIDING factor in the coming presidential election.  Even though, there is a good number of Hispanics becoming American citizens, a lot of them are just doing it because they want to take advantage of the benefits that come with being an American citizen more than anything else.   The main benefit being the fact that they can petition some of their relatives.  The majority does not do it because they can’t wait to go out and vote to help change the immigration laws or to get rid of the republicans from congress or the white house, even though, that’s what Univision and Telemundo are trying to accomplish.  The population that watch the Spanish networks are mostly illegal or new legal residents that don’t speak English yet and so are not able to vote anyway.

The Spanish media is really working hard in trying to convince the ones that are able to become citizens to do it and then to vote for the democrats, but the big part of the Latin population that is able to do it, is Latin Americans who came to the U.S. 10, 15 or 20 years ago when the illegal immigration was not really a problem and believe it or not, they are not happy with the idea of transforming this country in what they were trying to get away from, a culture of corruption, unemployment and low wages.

The Latin population that is older than 17 and younger than 30 and are able to vote, are not interested in politics.  They are not even interested in watching the news.  The little bit that the younger ones know about the news is because they catch a glimpse of it while their parents are watching “Las novelas” (Spanish soap operas) and the network shows an advance of the news when they happen to cross the living room in their way to the kitchen to see if they can get something to eat.
I am not trying to deny the fact that there are some Latin Americans that become citizens because one of the benefits of being a citizen is the opportunity to participate in the electoral process, but from those, some will lean for the democrats, some for the republicans and a very small group will always wait until they hear some candidate say something that they can agree with or touch a subject that they care about.

The Latin American vote is not 100% for the democrats and it will never be, and is not 5% or any low number like that for the republican, but it is there not just for the ones that take the time to go and talk to us and promise us the sun, the moon, the stars and the sky, just because they think we are stupid enough to believe it, but to those who are honest enough to promise what they can deliver and explain why they can’t promise more than that, but will it make a difference? May be, Will it be the decisive factor? I don’t think that we are a big enough part of the voting society to be a decisive factor YET.

One thing that the Republican Party needs to start realizing is that the Latin American population shares a lot of the conservative ideas and values that the real conservative republican profess.  We are very conservative in nature, and we value good morals.  We are more in tune with what the real conservative Republican Party stand for than what the Democrats stand for.  They (the republicans) need to come and talk to us about lowering the taxes, reduce the number of abortions, keep the marriage and the family sacred, allow us to keep believing in the God of Moses and be honest about the immigration issues.  We are law abiding citizens and the laws need to be respected, including the immigration laws.  Don’t come to us with promises that you won’t keep.  Not all of us (Latinos) are in favor of immigration reforms that are amnesties anyway.
